Bible Workers: All
Bible Workers are one of the most cost effective ways to truly grow the Kingdom of God. They are the voice, the face, the presence of the word of God, going door to door, meeting people, praying for them, teaching them the Bible and to look to the Heavenly Father for blessings and hope and eternal life. They already speak the language and understand the culture. They don’t need a plane ticket to get there.
Jesus for Asia has Bible workers in several countries. This fund covers wherever they may be.

East Mindoro Outreach
Daryl and Sarah Famisaran are working towards bringing the light of the Gospel to the mountain tribes of Eastern Mindoro, and Island in the Philippines. They are leading 19 filipino missionaries who are living with the natives in very remote villages and establishing schools and groups of believers. They are also starting an orphanage for unwanted babies that would otherwise be left to die. Daryl and Sarah have already saved 2 children from this death. The little girl in the picture to the left is one of them.
This ministry is located on the other side of the island from the “West Mindoro and Feeding Program” with Pete and Jessica Barolo. There are 11 tribes in the mountains with 11 languages – plenty of work for all!
The current need is to build a training center for training Bible workers more deeply.

Bible Workers: India

Being able to speak the language and already understanding the culture, these dedicated workers meet the people on their level. They travel to villages and pray with the people, provide Bible studies, and develop committed groups of believers that stay committed long term.
You can fully sponsor the wage of a Bible Worker in India for only $90/month!

Cambodia Boarding Academy – Howell Family Relaunch
The Howell Family: Lloyd, Natalie, Danielle, and Alysa, left to serve as missionaries in Cambodia in January 2020. They have been working with Miranda Lundby and the Cambodia Adventist Mission to help build an Adventist boarding academy, a desperate need for the fledgling church in Cambodia. They are also helping to train the teachers who will work at the academy when it is finished. They returned in June to take care of some loose ends and have not been able to go back due to covid. They have now returned and have gone through the mandatory 2 weeks quarantine just in time for the country to enter lock down so they are stuck in a hotel in Phnom Penh. Prayers are needed!

4WD Vehicle for Tawi Tawi – COMPLETED!
Pastor Ranny Devera is leading evangelism efforts in the farthest south of the Philippines, in the Tawi-Tawi area. It is very remote and hilly and he is praying for a 4 wheel drive truck so they won’t get stuck so often hauling supplies and workers.

$55,000 Matching Grant! Country Outpost for Bangkok COI
We found land that is perfectly situated at a great climbing rock just 1.5 hours from the F5 Fitness Center (Center of Influence) in Bangkok. This land will provide access to the climbing rock, open the possibility of developing a summer camp (the first in Thailand), and provide the workers a much needed break from the city.
Negotiations for the land are on-going but we estimate $110,000 for roughly 5 acres. This is actually an amazing price since most land is selling in the $500,000 range.
We have been given a matching grant for half the full price! $55,000 has been pledged! So for each dollar you give another dollar is released into the land purchase. Praise God!!!

Sukhotai Project – Norton Family
There are hundreds of cities and towns in Asia where there is no Adventist congregation, not even a believing member.
The Norton Family landed on Thai soil in August 2019 and moved to Sukhothai shortly thereafter. Within the first 12 months, God had sent them 6 chidren in need of a safe and loving home. There is a clear need for licensing and expansion so they’re praying to be led to the right property which can be developed to meet this growing need. Update: They have found property! Click here to learn more!

Children’s Home and Training Property Purchase – Norton
The Norton family has been working in the previously un-entered city of Sukhothai, in north central Thailand. They have accepted children from terrible, abusive places into their home and now their home is too small with very little place for the kids to play. They’ve found a property of 11 acres about 25 minutes outside the city with multiple homes already built and plenty of room to work and play for the children. They also envision a Bible worker training center being established on this property, which is desperately needed in Thailand. Even though it seems expensive, this is an amazing steal at this price.
Here’s a short video about this beautiful property.

Thailand TV Studio & LFA Foundation Office Construction
Our local team in Thailand has outgrown their rented office and are in need of a TV studio where they and film interviews and sermons on relevant end-time topics as part of the 3 angels message for this time. Thailand has less than 1% Christian of any denomination. With a population of over 65 million people this is a huge task! TV and new media platforms like YouTube and Facebook are a prime way to get the message out there and plant a lot of seeds! But we need to produce quality material and this studio will be a huge help.
The property this will be built on was gifted by a local foundation and is the location of the miracle of the Lam Yai fruit tree!
This will also be the official location of our Foundation in Thailand, Love for Asia.

Satellite for Indonesia’s 17,508 Islands!
Indonesia is a collection of islands. 17,508 islands to be exact. How will the Gospel go to all those people disconnected by miles of open ocean? Satellite is the best way as it covers all the islands in the national language of Bahasa, which people in Malaysia can also understand. And it only costs $10/hour to operate the satellite and produce programs that reach the heart of the people.
Only $10/hour!

Bible Workers: Bangladesh
Bible Workers are one of the most cost effective ways to truly grow the Kingdom of God. They are the voice, the face, the presence of the word of God, going door to door, meeting people, praying for them, teaching them the Bible and to look to the Heavenly Father for blessings and hope and eternal life. They already speak the language and understand the culture. They don’t need a plane ticket to get there.
Jesus for Asia has Bible workers in several countries. This fund covers the new ones in Bangladesh.

Bible Workers: Sensitive Countries
There are some countries in the world that are not open to the Gospel and yet people live there that are hungry and searching for something better. There are a few believers that sense God’s calling to these people.

Bangladesh School
During a recent trip to Bangladesh, our Filipino missionaries discovered a school building that had been built over 20 years ago but had been lying dormant for the last 15 years or so. We have a great desire to reestablish this school because schools are a very powerful and needed way to build up the church for the next generations!

COVID-19 Relief Fund
The statistics in poorer countries in Asia are very disturbing. More people are dying because of starvation due to the lockdown. Many of our own church members are daily wages laborers. Which means that if they don’t work today they don’t eat tomorrow. So the lockdown puts them in a position to starve. They are making the dangerous trip to come to our Bible workers asking for rice and small vegetables so they and their kids don’t starve to death.
These countries include India, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Indonesia and others.
This fund is to provide something for them during this terrible time.

JFA Evening Schools
COVID-19 Update: The schools are going strong through this pandemic. The teaching has been reduced to just a few minutes but the feeding has been ongoing and supported by the government (much appreciated, actually) and is more important now than ever since many of the families that we serve are on the edge of poverty already and many have lost a lot of work. These schools are a lifeline for them.
—
JFA Evening Schools provide education and a nourishing meal for children in poverty-stricken situations. These schools operate in the evenings and are a much needed resource to help the children gain a better education and fight the ever-present challenge of malnutrition.
$7/month is all it takes to provide two hours of education and a healthy meal six days a week to a child at our evening schools!

Bible Worker Training
Many of our Bible Workers in Asia have very little formal education and a varied amount of Bible training. They have a love for God and know His voice and spend a lot of time in the Bible and in prayer, but with so few pastors compared to the need these simple but wonderful workers are often shouldered with the responsibility of caring for a church, sometimes two or three churches. They need training where they can sharpen their skills in studying the Bible and sharing the Gospel. This fund will help facilitate the upbuilding of the Church through training our Jesus for Asia Bible Workers.

Widows’ Sewing Schools
There are over 40 million widows in India and they are often forced to beg or sell themselves to make a living because they are uneducated and can’t get a job. Our Widows’ Sewing School is changing that, one woman at a time! This school teaches the women how to sew, giving them with a better way of providing for their families! Currently, we are working on opening up another Widows’ Sewing School in Odisha.

Manipur School
In the mountains of Manipur, Northeast India, lies a school that has been supported by 3 local SDA churches for several decades. It has fallen on hard times, with stiff competition from nearby Catholic schools. We are working with 3ACM ministries and Dennis and Judy Skandunas to rebuild this school, especially for our Adventist young people so they have a chance to learn about the true character of God and strengthen the work there for now and the future.

Timor Leste Mission
Timor Leste is one of the world’s newest countries – gaining independence from Indonesia in 2002. In the wake of independence, about 1/4 of the people were killed.
The president of the Adventist church there, Pastor Raymond House, has a vision to uplift this country with the true Gospel. We want to help him. - j32671
Young Missionary Training
In the mission field knowing how to ride a motorbike is often a basic life skill, like knowing how to swim or drive a car. Several of our missionaries do most of their daily travel on motorbikes. We have some young people here in America that aspire to join them some day and we believe it would be safer to teach them here in controlled conditions before they get out there. This will enable them to a) be accepted by the missionaries and b) not be a hindrance to their work when they join them.
We would like to buy 3 used off-road motorbikes and a trailer to haul them. These can be sold when no longer needed and the funds put back into the work.
- j1677
Thailand New Media Outreach
Thailand is a least-reached country, with very few spiritual resources available to the believer. No Thai Adventist TV channels, and very few Ellen White books in Thai. In fact, in 2011, there were no EGW books available in country in Thai. Our JFA Thailand Media Team (part of Love for Asia) is recording sermons in Thai and translating SOP books (including Our High Calling and The Desire of Ages) into Thai for the upbuilding of the church and the proclamation of the Gospel. We also operate a production truck that can film and live stream church services from any part of Thailand.
- j28030
Love for Asia Foundation – Thailand
Love for Asia Foundation is Jesus for Asia’s organizational presence in Thailand that provides the legal means for our missionaries to stay and work in the country. God raised up this foundation at just the time that it was needed, otherwise many missionaries and their families would have had to return home.

Light Asia Publishing
The Rogers Family are seeking, by the help of God, to establish a publishing facility for Southeast Asia. Here, where Christ and His hope are little known, God calls for the “silent messengers” to support the finishing of His work. The purpose is to provide Christ-centered literature, Bible study guides, and books in the native languages. The goal is to share through the printed page a knowledge of the love, joy, and peace that God gives.

Bicycles for Bible Workers
Many of our Bible workers, especially in the North, find transportation extremely difficult due to the high cost and irregular public transportation in the rural districts. Bicycles are an economical way to give them more reach, more power for the Gospel. Each bicycle costs approximately $100. Some of them need motorcycles or other forms of transportation. This fund provides for those as well.

Chembur Church Rebuild and Health Center – Mumbai
This building is in such bad repair that the city of Mumbai condemned it and closed it for public use 9 years ago. The church in Chembur was a major church in Mumbai, having Bible Workers and pastor accommodations. But, due to financial constraints, the church has not been able to rebuild. We are envisioning a 3 story building with a center of influence/clinic on the ground floor, larger church hall on the second floor, and living/guest quarters on the top floor.
- j1530
Sathe Nagar Slum Church – Mumbai
The slums of Mumbai are the largest in Asia and we have had several Bible Workers working there for a number of years. Sathe Nagar has over 100 believers, but they do not have a church. They have been renting different churches for a while, and have been trying to raise money to build a new church for 6 years. It would cost about $20,000-$25,000 to build them a church, and it would be a great blessing to this vibrant community of believers.
- j27333
India TV Ministry
If our JFA Bible workers are our ground force, television is our Air Force. It has proved to be a powerful tool to reach into people’s homes and introduce Jesus to them. We are currently airing a weekly program on a popular channel and our Bible workers are conducting over 170 Bible studies a week!
This monthly bill includes shooting, editing, and the cost to air these shows.
- j28200
Literature for Bible Workers
Very few Bible workers, and even pastors, in India and other countries have any Spirit of Prophecy books to read for themselves and share with their church members, so they are missing out on a lot of spiritual blessings.
This fund will allow us to place these much needed books of insight and guidance into many hands to help uplift the church and point many to Christ. - j3166
Cambodia Education – Miranda
Miranda Lundby is pursuing her Master’s degree in Education with the goal of building the first Seventh-day Adventist boarding academy in Cambodia! Many young people in Cambodia leave the church in their high school years because they have no Adventist school to attend. This fund helps support Miranda as she studies and labors to make this dream a reality.
- j1258
Cambodia Boarding Academy
Cambodia is 95% Buddhist, with only 3,000 active SDA’s in a country of 18,000,000 people. Many of our young people in the church do not have the option of attending an Adventist high school which has a Christ-centered environment. This school will give them the opportunity to see Christian principles at work on a daily basis and will make a huge impact in many lives. We are working together with the church leadership in Cambodia to establish it, in fact this was their idea that they developed in a strategic planning session in 2015.
Current status: We have purchased 32 acres, had it checked for landmines, and leveled the building area. We would have the first school building finished by now but Covid got in the way. We need to drill a well, bring electricity onto the property, and build a small house for the Howell family to live there, as well as the first school building.
Here’s a 2 minute video explaining the need and how this project got started: Cambodia Boarding Academy Preview
If you’d like to hear more of the story, we’ve recorded a couple “Jesus for Asia Now” shows for broadcast on 3ABN. Here they are:
JFA Now e73 Cambodia Boarding Academy
The total goal for the entire school is $500,000. Currently we have the land and enough funds to build the first school building. We are needing to build a small house for the principle and her family. We estimate the cost to be about $24,000.

Cambodia Teacher Training
Thank you, Donors. Enough funds were raised for the matching grant!! We are excited to see what God does for these young people through their training.
The dream is a boarding academy that will train up young people to be the pillars of the church. However, there is no one qualified to be the faculty of this school. So Miranda plans to sponsor 6 teachers through to a bachelor’s degree plus provide hands-on training in Adventist doctrines and values, natural remedies, and outreach.
$3,600 will provide them a year’s tuition, living expenses, and a small stipend as they go door to-door sharing Christ.
- j3163
Worthy Student Fund
One of the most effective long term mission strategies is to invest in the Adventist eduction of our young people, many of whom are first generation into the church and have no Adventist background. An adventist eduction will them that daily experience with other Christians.

Sowing in Thailand
Jim and Irene Hill moved to Bangkok in Feb 2019. Recently the Thailand Adventist Mission (TAM) has asked Jim to start an agriculture program to produce food and develop a student work program for Mae Lako Christian School on the western border. Their current need is for $500 per month to subsidize the required “salary” from the TAM to comply with visa requirements. Money donated for this will ultimately be applied to school and student needs at Mae Lako. God bless you!

Phrao Thawikhun Home
This is a home where poor kids from the mountains can stay and go to school.
There are currently 23 children in total, 11 male and 12 female, with 4 adult caretakers. Some children are of the Lahu tribe and some are of the Akha tribe. They are from poor families, divorced parents and drug addicted families, from homes where they had a lack of basic care and little hope for an education. The goal of the children’s home is to give them an education and teach them Godly values.
Rodney Wojciechowski is overseeing it. - j70405
Thailand Outreach – Hailey Chalfant
Hailey graduated from college, worked in the corporate world for a while, and has decided she would like to serve with Leroy and Lisa Sharon in Thailand. She has been on short-term missionary trips to Cuba and Dominican Republic in high school which opened her eyes to the extreme poverty and hopelessness in which so many individuals live on a daily basis.
We are hoping and praying that she will be able to leave the U.S. in November with the current state of our country. If not, she will keep trying! Travel is complicated these days and more expensive with the required health screenings and quarantine period required. Please pray and, if the Lord leads, assist Hailey in getting over there.

West Mindoro Outreach & Feeding Program
There is a people group deep in the mountains of Mindoro, an island in the Philippines, that live in deep fear and superstition that keeps them from education and proper nutrition. Our team of missionaries are winning hearts through educating their children and providing food for them. They are also showing them the power of a risen savior over the evil spirits that rule their lives. The children often go all day without food while their parents are out scavenging in the jungle for something edible. Your gift will sponsor a missionary, Bible worker, and some food for these poor starving children.

Butterfly Paradise
Wat Preah Yesu (Tim and Wendy Maddocks) is located in one of the most touristed spots in Asia. God gave Tim a vision to build a Butterfly aviary to be a compelling witness to the tourists that come from many countries all around the world. Instead of selling the property for millions, they are building it into a witnessing tool for Christ.

SUD Mission Projects
Southern Asia Division Mission Projects
We have a dream of several small “Lifestyle Community Centers” in every large city in India. These centers will be places where people can come to mingle and learn, to be inspired and discipled for Jesus. Another mission project is to train “Lifestyle Coaches” to lead the ministry in these Community Lifestyle Centers. These are just two of the Southern Asia Division’s Mission projects that we are hosting. Others include: hospital and church renovations and assisting students to attend SDA schools. Please note where you would like your donation used.
Thank you for helping us help others!

Gayle’s Jungle Mission
Gayle had committed to a three-month stay in Thailand in 2009, but fell in love with the Karen people, and could no longer see a life for herself in the USA. Her ministry is medical, which in-turn results in Bible studies with the people. Gayle is an exciting, passionate missionary who loves her work! She currently runs a clinic up in the mountain jungles of northern Thailand, but travels around to the villages around offering not just medical help, but spiritual as well.
- j1139
Sharon Family Projects
Leroy and Lisa Sharon are missionaries to Thailand. Lisa is currently raising 4 young girls for the Lord. This focus has turned out to be the best witness to the local village which has never seen a Christian before. Leroy is traveling to local villages and schools and connecting people with the Savior through language teaching using Bible stories. Interest is growing rapidly in the Gospel and there is a call developing for a Bible School to be established in the area.

Translation and printing of materials are needed for many different languages.

JFA Foreign Correspondents – The Hills
As Asia seems distant to most people in Christian countries, Jonathan and Hannah want to share the needs and experiences of missions through videos so that more can know what is happening and also see the needs that they can help to meet. While they would both say that Thailand is home rather than America, they live in Thailand also to make it easier/cheaper to travel to JFA projects. This fund goes to help make travel to the various JFA projects possible so that they can help keep us up to date with videos and pictures.

Philippines Media Outreach
Even though the church in the Philippines is well established and growing, there are hundreds of millions of people that still haven’t heard the 3 Angels message. Your contribution to this fund will enable these teams to go forward.
